Heating and cooling system calculations up to 30 times faster, in compliance with DTU 60.5 standards!
What has changed?
The existing calculation engine lets you perform precise mechanical and electrical calculations in Stabicad for Revit. The brand-new calculation engine for heating and cooling systems has been designed to be more powerful and process calculations in a fraction of a second. Both calculation engines take into account the DTU 60.5 standard, which means you can rest assured that precision is not compromised by speed.
Overview
Discover up to 30 times faster heating and cooling system calculations with Stabicad, directly in Revit. Now you can also dimension your piping network according to user-defined constraints, increasing efficiency like never before!
Why is it so much faster? What are the advantages?
"The new calculation engine calculates the model outside Revit and makes optimal use of Revit's APIs to quickly process modifications," explains Roger Füchs, Senior Manager, Product Management at Trimble, "thanks to the cloud nature of the engine, performance is also less dependent on the user's hardware. This enables us to provide our customers with much faster calculations, even on large models."
The time savings demonstrated by this update help users to increase their productivity and profits. The ability to check models, even for complex systems involving hundreds of units, in a matter of seconds saves mechanical engineers precious time.
How do I configure it?
If you are a Stabicad user for Revit, setting up the new calculation engine via the cloud is very simple. Just activate it in the settings and continue working in Stabicad seamlessly. This means that workflows will remain unchanged, the only difference being speed!
