Stabicad for Revit aerial calculation
The power of integrated calculation in BIM lies in the fast and reliable calculation of installations for dimensioning, checking and juxtaposing alternatives. In one model, in one program.
This saves considerable time and prevents errors. Because you now no longer need to export the boundary conditions for pipe calculations to another calculation program outside of Stabicad. Or enter them by hand.
Integrated air calculation according to the standard
During this webinar, we will discuss air calculations in Stabicad for Revit. Topics include:- Designing, modifying louvers and air ducts- Connecting, node solving- Calculating duct diameters/noise/leak air, with possible adjustments in terms of properties
Calculation Overview
With Stabicad's new calculation overview, calculation results become visible directly in your Revit model. In the overview you can change dimensions and calculate the systems without the new values being written directly into the model. This allows you to easily check the results and quickly calculate alternative systems to continue modeling with the preferred situation.

Local standards and norms
The calculation modules allow you to calculate basic system scenarios based on local standards and norms. This includes report generation, calculation overview and export functionality to various extensions. The extensive reports can be saved as a document and submitted to an inspection authority. This way, you can always prove later which calculations your design is based on. We use the following standards:

Computing with specific content
Calculation can be done early in a design based on generic components, as well as specific content from manufacturers. For example, an engineer can find fire dampers from Rf-Technologies and grilles from Solid Air in the BIM library www.MEPcontent.com, which contain item information needed to calculate drawn systems.

Time savings thanks to integrated air calculation
With the calculation modules of ventilation, it is possible to determine the thickness of the ducts such that they fall within the standards. "In this area, Stabicad is a lot more professional than AutoCAD. You can rest assured that the air does not reach too high a speed so that it is disturbing and audible, because the necessary calculations have already been done in advance. In short, you have better as-built drawings with correct dimensions and a clear representation."

Kenneth shows us some examples in ESA's project book, "Here you see drawings I have delivered. The drawings that we create correspond almost completely to reality. For example, the drawings made with StabiCAD can later be used for maintenance of the buildings in question. The installer immediately knows where the pipes are. Talk about a luxury." - Kenneth Thomas, draftsman AE+ Engineering
