A new stadium for the Africa Cup of Nations 2023

Baudin Chateauneuf, 100 years of passion and technical excellence for the construction and renovation of durable, complex structures

As part of the organization of the African Cup of Nations 2021, now 2023, Côte d'Ivoire is equipping itself with new sports facilities.

The country's administrative capital, Yamoussoukro, is to get a new 20,000-seat soccer stadium, with steelwork by BAUDIN CHATEAUNEUF.

The construction project is scheduled for handover in the first quarter of 2021.

A project designed, manufactured and galvanized in mainland France

The parts were then glued into containers for transport by boat to the Ivory Coast.

This required additional bar seals and increased management of part shipments.

Given the complex geometry of the roof, it was necessary to exchange Tekla Structures 3D models with the project manager.
