The online Mobile GIS Developer Community site provides members with access to the software tools included in the Community, as well as documentation, a developer forum, knowledge base, and support resources.
Members of the Mobile GIS Developer Community pay an annual fee covering use of the toolkits and developer support and also pay variable runtime license fees depending on which Trimble software components they deploy to their customers.
Members of the Mobile GIS Developer Community have access to:
The Trimble® GPS Pathfinder® Field Toolkit—A software development kit (SDK) designed for the rapid development of standalone GPS-enabled applications for Win32 and Windows Mobile® platforms. Process and export data collected with developed applications to a range of GIS platforms using Trimble GPS Pathfinder Office software or Trimble GPS Analyst™ extension for Esri ArcGIS for Desktop software.
The Trimble® Positions™ toolkit—A software development kit (SDK) that lets developers harness the high performance of Trimble GeoExplorer® series handhelds within an enterprise GIS workflow. The toolkit is accompanied by Trimble Positions Desktop add-in, an add-in to Esri ArcGIS for Desktop software for postprocessing and validation of high-accuracy data collected using a Trimble Positions toolkit/ArcGIS for Windows Mobile SDK-based field application.
