Telge Projects, a Pune-based BIM partner, used Tekla Structures to deliver structural steel detailing for Lake Wylie High School in York, South Carolina. The large-scale educational facility required complex coordination across wall framing, joist systems and rooftop mechanical units.
Leveraging advanced 3D BIM modeling, clash detection and IFC integration, the Telge team resolved multi-discipline conflicts before fabrication, reducing costly rework. Comprehensive layout drawings and continuous collaboration with the Engineer of Record, architects and MEP teams ensured precision at every phase.
The result: a fully coordinated structural steel model delivered two weeks ahead of schedule, with CNC-ready outputs enabling smooth fabrication and erection. This project demonstrates how BIM-driven workflows improve constructability, accuracy and project efficiency in modern school construction.
