Trimble Introduces Oil and Gas Services Suite to Provide
Tracking, Analytics, Navigation and Security Solutions


SUNNYVALE, Calif., Oct. 26, 2015—Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) introduced today a services suite for managing the transportation of fleets and equipment servicing well sites in the oil and gas industry. From upstream to downstream, companies can now utilize a comprehensive solutions portfolio to improve efficiencies in how they track loads, process tickets, navigate lease roads and record hours of service.

Transportation Management and Ticketing

The Transportation Management System (TMS) for Oilfield Haulers brings mobile worker connectivity and fleet management visibility together with operations technology. TMS integrates data and services from multiple Trimble Transportation & Logistics companies to provide value and improve performance. Capabilities include:
  • Daily dispatch and ticket processing for faster inbound order management with automated billing steps reducing days sales outstanding (DSO)
  • Real-time electronic data workflows replacing error-prone manual data entry and paper processing 
  • Electronic order and invoice exchange with producers and well site operators, including Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for larger partners 
  • Automated status and critical information notifications from the field to the office 
  • Direct data routing to customers for verification and to finance for billing and automated invoice approval
Fleet Tracker and Asset Tracker

The Fleet Tracker and Asset Tracker service provides companies with GPS and satellite-driven remote tracking and monitoring for critical assets as well as event monitoring and remote asset tracking data. Features include:
  • Remote tracking to keep tabs on a fleet and its contents anywhere in the world
  • Both fixed and mobile solutions to give companies flexibility based on their operational needs
Oil Field Mapping & In-Cab Navigation

The Oil Field Mapping & In-Cab Navigation service offers detailed off-road data for safe navigation through oil fields to reduce costly out-of-route miles and improve productivity by easily navigating directly to the jobsite. In-cab navigation allows drivers and crews to easily follow routes to access privately leased roads, wells, facilities and survey locations. Features include:
  • The only off-road mapping service in the U.S. and Canada
  • Turn-by-turn, voice-guided directions across more than one million private lease roads
  • Ability to search and route directly to well sites, facilities and survey locations
Crude Oil Workflow

The Crude Oil Workflow, designed specifically for the crude oil hauling industry, automates time-consuming paperwork and integrates information in real time to boost the efficiency of hauling operations. Pickups and deliveries are done faster and more accurately with Crude Oil Workflow. Capabilities include:
  • Capturing signatures and print pickup and delivery tickets on the spot
  • Communicating through satellite in remote areas
  • Splitting tanks and calculating barrels automatically
Radio Frequency Disable

Trimble's Radio Frequency Disable service ensures that all radio frequency devices in trucks are automatically turned off at sensitive perforation sites to prevent potential accidents. Features include:
  • Single push-of-a-button device disabling
  • Time-sensitive alerts for driver safety
Document Management and Imaging

The Document Management system employs imaging and advanced workflows to reduce paper-handling inefficiency and digitize critical business data for process automation across many business functions. Capabilities include:
  • Scanning and managing documents electronically for processes in receivables, payables, carrier agreements, human resources and maintenance
  • Reducing bottlenecks caused by missing or hard-to-find paperwork to improve cash flow and DSO
Asset Maintenance and Management

The Asset Maintenance Management software can help fleets improve equipment uptime and DOT compliance while controlling maintenance and repair costs. Capabilities include:
