How many locomotives, units or vehicles can R3M support?

The R3M remote rail monitoring system has no theoretical maximum number of assets that can be supported. We have a customer with a requirement to support 6000 assets.

How many different data points can be captured per locomotive, unit or vehicle in R3M?

There is no theoretical maximum number of data points (channels) the system can capture. We have customers with 8000+ channels per asset in R3M.

Do you support multiple fleets?

Yes, R3M does support multiple fleets - either within the same operator (access to all fleets) or where the operator has their own customers (customer has access to their fleets only).

Is your on-board data capture hardware and software rail safety compliant?

Yes, R3M remote rail monitoring system uses on-board hardware and software that is rail safety ISO, CE and EN50155 compliant. All main data connectivity is strictly read-only and galvanically isolated.

Can your system give automatic notification of problems?

Yes, R3M has a built-in rules engine. This allows you to create your own simple or complex criteria to test the channel data for problems or issues. The details of the issue are captured and a notification is displayed within R3M and by email.
