We are thrilled to announce the availability of the latest version of CFForest: Land Resource Manager (LRM) 6.2.0, effective from the end of business day on July 3, 2024. This release continues to provide you with an intuitive and seamless experience in managing land resources with our platform.

What’s New in CFForest: LRM 6.2.0

CFForest: LRM 6.2.0 introduces a suite of improvements to your workflows whether you are on desktop or web. Highlights of this version include:

  • Enhanced compatibility: Built on the foundation of Oracle 19c, SQL Server 2019, ArcGIS 11.1 and ArcGIS Pro 3.1.4, ensuring robust performance and reliability.

  • Web and desktop: Enjoy the flexibility of managing content across web browsers, mobile devices and desktops. Our web application supports Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Safari for an optimal viewing and editing experience.

  • Upgrade path: For users on LRM 4.x or earlier, we recommend upgrading to LRM 5.6 as a stepping stone to smoothly transition to the latest version.

Important reminders:

  • ArcMap Desktop removal: Please note that ArcMap Desktop support was discontinued as of CFForest: LRM 6.0.0. We encourage users to explore the rich functionalities of ArcGIS Pro.

  • Support and downloads: Access to FTP sites and the Trimble Docushare site for downloading releases and documentation is no longer available. Instead, please visit our Forestry Support Portal at https://forestry.support.trimble.com to download the CFForest: LRM 6.2.0 release package and accompanying documentation.
