Project description
Production building (and ancillary works) for an industrial platform for R&D and the clinical and commercial manufacture of advanced therapy products (ATMPs).
INEXOM designed the steel structure and envelope:
Calculations, general and detailed structural steel drawings (including fabrication and installation files)
Layout of pans and reinforcement studies for the composite floor
Design, layout and detailing of roofing and cladding
Challenges to meet
The main challenges of the project were :
Consideration of the constraints of the various lots in a highly constrained environment inside the building (e.g. minimum clear height to be respected between levels: strong constraint on assemblies)
Numerous floor types (with different thicknesses) on the same level
Work for different customers on the same project and a single digital model
Special cladding complex with special supports required
The benefits of using BIM and Trimble solutions :
Easier management of interfaces (civil engineering, process equipment, HVAC, etc.) with various parties working in parallel
Simplified exchanges thanks to the visualization and sharing of information throughout the project (integration of IFCs from third-party lots and export of IFCs from our own lots)
Smoother management of the structure/envelope interface thanks to the organization: INEXOM was in charge of the 2 studies.
Our pride and joy:
To have participated in the construction of a pharmaceutical production plant in France dedicated to new gene therapies.
