Project description
Creation of a rotating pedestrian footbridge during renovation of the Colbert swing bridge.
Challenges to meet
Complexity of assembling several locapal "standard" items together to achieve a length of 45m
Creation of new elements to allow the bridge to rotate
Counter-sweep at the end of the gangway to reach the correct level on the other side of the harbour
Use of numerical controls to cut plates and profiles, with marking to facilitate assembly.
