Project description

Multifunctional sports and entertainment facilities

Challenges to meet

  • Insert all structural elements into a complex perimeter concrete substructure.

  • Creation of a temporary structure for erecting the 75 m lattice girders.

  • Success factors: Software reliability, collision detection, speed of assembly sheet creation, use of macros.

  • BIM advantages: Avoid reworking the model by importing elements from other lots (electrical, HVAC, concrete, etc.). Allows complete verification of the model by the design engineer, ensuring safe construction.

  • Proudest: Modeling of 210 truss nodes and 36 member splices, for 75 m truss girders
