Trimble and Dezeen Awards team up for a three-year sponsorship

Summary

Trimble is proud to announce a three-year sponsorship with Dezeen Awards, the leading global awards programme for architecture, interiors and design. Trimble will work alongside Dezeen, furthering its ongoing commitment to inspire and support global design excellence as an established and essential companion to architects and designers worldwide.

Aligning Creativity, Technology and Impact

Both Dezeen Awards and Trimble are underpinned by a shared commitment to innovation. Operating at the intersection of design, technology, and the built environment, Trimble creates tools that enable clearer communication, stronger collaboration, and more considered design outcomes. Through visualisation and collaboration platforms such as SketchUp, Trimble supports design-led practice from early concept through to delivery. With Dezeen Awards, Trimble can help spotlight the ideas, processes, and people shaping design excellence today.

A collaboration built on design excellence

Now in its ninth year, Dezeen Awards is one of the most-entered awards programmes in its sector internationally, attracting more than 4,300 entries from 89 countries in 2025. Participants can enter 49 categories across architecture, interiors and design. The awards align with Trimble's passion for design and innovation, helping designers through its pioneering technology to transform the way they shape spaces and buildings, as well as drive productivity in the process.

‘‘We are delighted to team up with Dezeen Awards, which celebrates the very best in global design. Creativity, originality and innovation are at the heart of what we do, and this collaboration allows us to support the designers and architects shaping the future of the industry. We look forward to seeing this year’s edition continue to inspire and champion creative excellence worldwide.’’

— Heather Adkins, Chief Marketing Officer at Trimble.

What’s new for 2026?

This year’s awards introduce several significant updates designed to provide even greater visibility for talent across the globe. Alongside the 49 project awards, for the first time, Dezeen Awards is introducing its Regional Showcases, three Top 50 lists that will celebrate the best projects across three major territories: Europe, the Middle East and Africa; Asia Pacific and the Americas. Selected by Dezeen’s editors, every project entered into this year’s awards can also be entered into these Regional Showcases.

In addition to the regional honors, the 2026 edition will introduce a public vote. Opening in early October, this initiative invites the wider design community—including Dezeen readers, Trimble customers, and design enthusiasts—to cast their vote for their favorite projects. Together, these updates ensure that the awards continue to evolve as a comprehensive and inclusive celebration of global talent. And as always, Dezeen Awards will be judged by the biggest names in the business, with judges being named later this year. All entries to Dezeen Awards will be judged against three core criteria: is the entry beautiful, innovative and beneficial.

Entries for Dezeen Awards 2026 open on 11 February at dezeen.com/awards.
