Trimble DriveSafe, an optional feature of TrimView, provides insight into individual driver behaviour by providing indicators of aggressive driving. Managers can monitor and compare driving behaviour over time, such as loaded or unloaded status when measuring turns, starts or stops and the average vehicle speed.

DriveSafe calculates a score for each maneuver, reports both individual and composite scores for drivers, then compares the scores to the average scores for the fleet. Managers can use these scores to curb unsafe driving behaviors before they become a problem, making your fleet safer and lowering operating costs.

  • Driver Scorecard - Collects data when drivers are in the field. Categories include turns, starts, stops and speed.
  • Score Weighting - Configure DriveSafe to suit your companies' needs by increasing or decreasing the value of each type of driving behavior.

DriveSafe Reports - Two on-demand reports are available:

  • Fleet Report - Provides scores of various maneuvers plus an overall composite score for each vehicle.
  • Fleet Chart - Graphically compares the composite scores for each vehicle.

  • Reduce risks to employees and assets from unsafe driving behaviors.
  • Diminish excess fuel use from hard braking, power take-offs and speeding.
  • Lower your insurance premiums with fewer driver accidents and speeding tickets.
