    The AutoCAD Civil 3D Importer for Trimble Business Center - HCE

    The AutoCAD Civil 3D Importer utility offers a fully automated data exchange solution that enables the direct import of Civil 3D model data into the Trimble Business Center - Heavy Construction Edition software. The utility extends the capabilities of Trimble Business Center - HCE to read intelligent Civil 3D model elements such as alignments, profiles, COGO points, and roadway corridor models. The result is a more streamlined process that helps construction professionals use civil BIM data for construction data preparation, and for site positioning and grade control operations.
    • Retains the intelligence of the Civil 3D data source model and facilitates the creation of a construction-ready 3D model
    • Offers improved DWG file format support (including RealDWGTM)
    • Minimizes the need to create specific files for contractors before they start the bidding or construction process

    The AutoCAD Civil 3D Importer for Trimble Business Center - HCE requires the installation of any language version of Trimble Business Center - HCE version 1.40. The importer utility can access 2010 or earlier DWG files, and replaces the standard AutoCAD DWG import capability that ships in Trimble Business Center - HCE. Trimble Business Center - Heavy Construction Edition v1.40 part 1 program filesDue to the size of the DVD it has been broken into 4 parts for download. Users that have installed the 1.30 US English version can download just the part 1 program files. Users that want to install another language or that have not installed v1.30, must also download the part 2 program files. To install just the program files download the required parts and unzip them into an empty folder with a short path name such as C:\TBC.
