Downloads

The GPS Controller software is a free program designed to allow you to configure a range of GPS receivers. It runs on Windows 2000/XP desktop computers, devices running Windows CE.NET, Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PCs and Windows Mobile Version 5.0/6.
Before downloading the software, we recommend downloading and viewing the documentation.

v2.11 - GPS Controller, Software for Windows CE(GPSControllerWinCESetup.exe - 5403 KB)GPS Controller allows you to configure your Trimble Mapping & GIS GPS receivers. This version should be used for devices running Windows CE .NET (excluding the TSCe or an Allegro CX running Windows CE .NET). Devices running Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PCs and Windows Mobile Version 5.0/6 should use v2.15 or greater.
v2.10 - GPS Controller, Software for Windows CE(GPSControllerWinCESetup.exe - 3898 KB)GPS Controller allows you to configure your Trimble Mapping & GIS GPS receivers. This version should be used If you have a TSCe or an Allegro CX running Windows CE .NET, otherwise install a later version of GPS Controller.
SBAS.INI(SBAS.ini - KB)Updated: 1 August 2007
  • Contains the list of SBAS satellites, including the two recently launched WAAS satellites - PRNs 135 and 138.
  • Required when using Custom mode in Trimble field software to select particular satellites to track, and exclude from the tracking list.
  • Details on the new WAAS satellites and how to install the SBAS.INI file are included in the Support Note titled Status Update: New WAAS Satellites and Trimble GPS Receivers.
SATDGPS.INI File(Satdgps.ini - 2 KB)Updated: 1 October 2009
  • Contains the list of frequencies used by satellite DGPS providers.
  • Updated for changes to the satellite frequency for use in Europe and Africa. See the Support Note for more details.
  • If you have TerraSync, GPS Controller, GPScorrect, or an application developed using the GPS Pathfinder Tools SDK installed on a PC, copy this file into the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Trimble\Config.
  • If you have TerraSync, GPS Controller, GPScorrect, or an application developed using the GPS Pathfinder Tools SDK installed on a Windows CE or Windows Mobile for Pocket PCs operating system, copy this file into the folder \Program Files\Common Files\Trimble\Config. This folder will be located on the Disk or in RAM depending on where the software is installed
  • If you have GPS Analyst v2.00 or later, copy this file into the folder C:\Program Files\Trimble\GPS Analyst\Bin.
  • If you have GPS Analyst v1.20 or earlier, copy this file into the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Trimble\Config.
  • If you are using Asset Surveyor download this version of SATDGPS.INI and use the GPS Pathfinder Office Data Transfer utility to load this file onto your device.
