This versatile Trimble radio operates in four different 10 MHz wide frequency bands, from 430 to 470 MHz.  It is designed to meet the licensing and approval requirements (ETSI 300-113) in Europe as well as many other countries around the world. In some European countries the SiteNet 450 radio can be configured to operate in license free bands, which makes the SiteNet 450 radio extremely portable; you can move it from project to project, without licensing hassles and restrictions. The SiteNet 450 radio can be used for broadcasting, repeating, and receiving real-time data used by Trimble GPS receivers. You can easily set the operating mode to base transmitter, repeater, or rover. Under optimal conditions, the SiteNet 450 radio broadcasts data up to 10 km line-of-sight and coverage can be enhanced by using a network of repeaters. As a repeater, the SiteNet 450 radio enables you to provide coverage in previously inaccessible or obstructed locations.
