Active P&ID is a very flexible application for creating intelligent schematics, such as process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). Start working today with the delivered standards or use the powerful customization utilities to quickly incorporate company or project standards with no programming required. Trimble provides an easy-to-use, drag and drop method for importing cell libraries into project specific tool palettes and can even generate new cell libraries from existing design files. Users can assign intelligent relational properties and the data will be propagated instantly with Trimble's Real-time Propagation Engine. Intelligent data from multiple design files can be reviewed outside of MicroStation with the Trimble DataBrowser and output to any ODBC compliant data source for reporting purposes.
