Trimble Introduces Three New Lasers
New Spectra Precision Laser Transmitters Designed for General Construction,
Interior Construction and Machine Control Markets
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Aug. 2, 2002 - Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB) introduced today a series of new Spectra Precision Laser transmitters for use in general construction, interior construction and machine control applications. The Spectra Precision Laser LL600, HV601 and HV602 from Trimble are all designed to provide maximum accuracy and consistent performance even in the toughest construction jobsite conditions.
These lasers are designed to deliver a number of benefits -- including increased productivity and profitability -- to general, interior and concrete contractors.
Spectra Precision Laser LL600
Spectra Precision Laser LL600 is rugged, reliable and extremely accurate. Featuring fully automatic self-leveling capabilities, the LL600 is easy to set up and provides a reliable elevation reference. With a diameter range of 800 meters (2,600 feet) the LL600 can be used for long-range, accurate elevation control over the entire job site. This innovative laser also features a manual slope mode, allowing the laser to be used for basic short-range slopes.
The LL600 is ideal for a wide variety of construction leveling and machine control applications: checking elevations, excavating cutting depth, setting forms, digging footings, checking foundations, screeding concrete and many more.
The LL600 can be paired with the Spectra Precision Laser HR500 receiver for general construction applications or with the Spectra Precision Laser CR600 for additional machine control applications.
The Spectra Precision Laser HV601 and HV602 are high-precision horizontal and vertical rotating lasers ideal for a variety of general construction and interior applications. Their numerous high-end features -- including self-leveling, remote control, tilting plumb-up beam and PlaneLok -- make them capable of meeting virtually any short- or long-range leveling, alignment or positioning requirements.
The HV601 and HV602 can be used with the Spectra Precision Laser HR500 receiver for general construction or interior applications, or with the CR600 receiver for additional machine control applications.
The Spectra Precision Laser LL600 and HV601 laser transmitters are available immediately through Trimble's Construction Instruments Division dealer network. The HV602 is expected to be available mid third quarter of 2002.
