Trimble Opens New Westminster Colorado Campus
Putting Innovation to Work—Trimble Connected Site Solutions Used During Construction
WESTMINSTER, Colo., June 24, 2013—Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB) announced that it has officially opened its new campus in Westminster, Colorado. The opening was attended by Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, Jefferson County Commissioners Faye Griffin, Donald Rosier and Casey Tighe, and Westminster Mayor Nancy McNally.

Trimble's New Westminster Campus
Trimble's new campus is a 125,000 sq. ft., 4-story building on 15 acres in the Westmoor area of the City of Westminster, located at 10368 Westmoor Drive. The new campus houses 475 employees, with space to accommodate up to 570. The employees at the campus focus on marketing, testing and applications engineering in the construction, surveying, agriculture and mapping & geographic information system (GIS) markets.
JE Dunn Construction of Denver was the general contractor for the project and OZ Architecture of Boulder designed the building.
Putting Innovation to Work—Trimble Technology Used to Construct New Campus
As part of the project, Trimble's broad range of Engineering and Construction (E&C) solutions were used during construction of the new campus—from survey, site-prep, excavation and estimating to 3D design and Building Information Modeling (BIM), project management and construction layout. Trimble's Connected Site® solutions enable an integrated and seamless workflow to reduce rework and improve productivity on a construction jobsite. The building project is pursuing Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification.

Increased Efficiency and Improved Productivity
Using Trimble's Connected Site solutions, JE Dunn and its subcontractors, achieved increased efficiencies and improved productivity throughout the phases of the building project. Examples include:

In addition to utilizing positioning technologies, such as GPS, lasers and optics, Trimble solutions may include software content specific to the needs of the user.
