Trimble Updates Three Powerful Survey Software Packages
New Versions Offer Enhanced Integration with Trimble Surveying Instruments
SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 22, 2002 - Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB) today announced updates to its three office software packages. The new versions offer improved integration with a variety of Trimble surveying instruments, further enhancing the power of the Trimble ToolboxTMof Integrated SurveyingTM solutions. The updated software includes Terramodel® version 10.1, Trimble Total ControlTM version 2.7 and Trimble Geomatics OfficeTM version 1.6.

Terramodel is a software solution developed to meet the needs of surveyors, engineers and construction professionals. It combines a purpose-built CAD and drafting solution with powerful features for surface modeling, 3D visualization, road engineering and survey data processing.

Trimble Total Control is a powerful, easy-to-use survey processing package for GPS and conventional total station survey measurement data. The software provides advanced geodetic control as well as GPS processing and analysis tools, making it ideal for surveyors who perform control or photogrammetry work. Trimble Geomatics Office software is used for processing and integrating real-time kinematic (RTK), post-processed GPS and conventional survey data. Designed to facilitate high productivity and quality control, this easy-to-use software imports, checks and processes field data. The data is stored in Microsoft Access database format for customized access, reporting and editing.
