Trimble Introduces Two Updated Construction Lasers

New Spectra Precision Laser LL200 and LL500 Laser Levels for Improved Productivity on the Construction Site

LAS VEGAS, March 19, 2002 - Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB) announced today updates to two laser levels, the Spectra Precision Laser LL200 and LL500 for a range of general construction and building work on the jobsite. These new construction lasers are the latest addition to Trimble's Spectra Precision Laser product line for the general and concrete contractor.
 
The announcement was made today at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2002, the industry's largest trade show for the construction, aggregates, and ready mixed concrete industries.
 
Spectra Precision Laser LL200
 
Ideal for the professional contractor on smaller job sites, the LL200 includes the transmitter, HR200 receiver, rod, and tripod in one rugged carry case. The case features graphics for setup and use of the laser. With simple operation, the LL200 is an affordable laser, offering contractors quick setup and operation with virtually no training.
 
Spectra Precision Laser LL500
 
The LL500 laser is an updated version of the L500C, long considered the "workhorse" laser for the professional contractor. The LL500 is a one-person leveling system designed for use on the jobsite, and in the harshest of conditions. Accurate, stable and very reliable, the LL500 is ideal for a range of everyday elevation measurements, including forms, footers and concrete pads. The laser comes complete with the new HR500 hand held or rod-mounted receiver and is compatible with machine control receivers.
