TULARE, Calif. and LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 11, 2003 -- Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB) today announced that the AgGPS® 170 Field Computer, a high quality field information management system, is now available as an option for the AgGPS Autopilot automated steering system. The rugged field computer provides a simple Autopilot interface and adds unparalleled features to enhance the steering system's capabilities, including field mapping, variable rate management with as-applied logging, asset tracking and other applications.
The announcement was made today at the World Ag Exposition in Tulare, Calif., and the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Ky.
The AgGPS 170 provides AgGPS Autopilot system users with better field (A-B line) management and storage, a bright daylight readable color display and AgGPS FieldManager software functionality.
