Link
Interfacing application

The Trimble Link installations for Autodesk Civil 3D 2008 and Autodesk Land Desktop 2008 are now available. Follow the Support link to the Download page.

The Trimble Link™ software provides seamless data transfer between devices and software applications that include:

Devices

  • Trimble ACU, TSCe™, TSC1™, or Trimble CU controller, running the Trimble Survey Controller™ software
  • PC card, for use with a Trimble SiteVision™ system
  • Geodimeter® CU600 controller
  • Nikon 300 and 500 series instruments (and 800 series instruments, via the serial port)

Software applications

  • AutoCAD® Civil 3D® software
  • Autodesk Land Desktop™ software
  • CAiCE Visual Transportation software
  • Trimble Survey Extension for ESRI ArcGIS software (the Survey Analyst Extension is required)
  • 12d Model (Trimble Link installation included with the 12d Model system)

The Trimble Link software is integrated with the application software. Because it includes the Data Transfer utility software that is used by other Trimble office software, the workflow and interface is the same, regardless of which device (see list above) or office software (see list above) you use. To transfer files to or from a device, simply use the Trimble menu or toolbar, or the appropriate application option. No other software is required.

Use the Trimble Link software to:
