Trimble VRS Now Extended Coverage

Trimble now offers Trimble VRS Now Extended Coverage (Trimble VRS Now TEC) service for Eastern and Central Europe making it the single largest network in the world to date—covering approximately 1,400 x 1,300 kilometers (870 x 807 miles). The service is based on a new and unique technology combining Trimble’s experience with network RTK VRS technology and its field-proven Continuous Operating Reference Station (CORS) hardware.

The Trimble VRS Now TEC service allows users with Trimble rover equipment to perform positioning with five centimeter level accuracy seamlessly within the region simplifying access to high precision GNSS corrections. The short time-to-first-fix for the service—typically less than 60 seconds—and the achievable accuracy is available wherever the user is located in the Trimble VRS Now Tec network.

The Trimble VRS Now TEC service operates using a sparsely distributed infrastructure network covering the following countries:

  • Austria
  • Hungary
  • Latvia
  • Lithuania
  • Poland
  • Slovakia
  • Northeastern France
  • Northern Italy
  • Sweden

The Trimble VRS Now TEC is ideal for precision agriculture operations, mapping and GIS and asset management applications. In addition, the service is perfect for the global operator roaming across boundaries, the utility organization in need of centimeter accuracy and organizations that need to track assets in real time across large areas.
