Primary Duties:
- Support of EMEA Distribution Sales Manager with major account penetration, especially with large European engineering companies.
- Support the Major Account Manager, Automotive with the identification and pursuit of major account activities within the European automotive sector. These will include both in-vehicle navigation and after-market navigation platforms plus large automotive-related system accounts.
- Support the EMEA Distribution Sales Manager with the identification of telematics devices, toll collection systems, and portable navigation products.
- Manage direct OEM TrimTrac Application Service Providers/System Integrators throughout EMEA especially in the United Kingdom.
- Identify and pursue major account activities with large European telecommunication and wireless companies promoting timing and synchronization products.
- Identify and pursue GPS chipset opportunities with the EMEA region in cooperation with Trimble's silicon partners.
Position Requirements:
- Electrical/Electronics engineering degree.
- Technical Sales experience of component or sub-systems especially wireless (GSM/PGRS) products.
- Major Account sales experience.
- Fluency in English, plus German or French.
- GPS technology experience.
- Understanding of GPS applications and markets especially timing.
- Understanding of the semiconductor/chipset industry.
- Knowledge of telecommunication/electronics market.
- Good relationship with existing and potential telecom and wireless customers.
Residence:
- United Kingdom or Germany with possibility of working out of home office.

Primary Duties:
- Provide high level application domain and product knowledge support to the regional sales management throughout the region.
- Provide feedback and intelligence on market requirements, market trends, competitor activity and key opportunities and threats to the business area.
- Issue pricebooks, maintain DSM database, conduct seminars, presentations, and training as required.
- Attend trade shows and major events.
- Assist with large tenders and strategic opportunities
Position Requirements:
- Degree in surveying or engineering preferred for this position
- Experience in application support to the sales organization required
- Knowledge of Trimble Survey products, procedures, pricing systems and policies, market strategies and market characteristics
