GeoExplorer 2003 Series
GeoExplorer CE series CE .NET SDKThe GeoExplorer CE series Software Development Kit (SDK) allows you to develop programs using Microsoft eMbedded Visual C++ (EVC) 4.0 with Service Pack 2 to target the GeoExplorer CE series handhelds running a Microsoft Windows CE .NET based operating system. To develop platform independent applications that can be used on the GeoExplorer CE series handhelds and any other platform that supports the .NET Compact Framework, such as Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PC, use Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003. To install the SDK, the Microsoft Windows Installer (provided with Windows XP, and can be installed onto Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 based systems if not included) needs to be included on your PC. EVC 4.0 SP2 must also be installed prior to running this SDK. (GeoExplorer CE series - Software Development Kit.msi 4 Nov 2003 40.9 MB)

Using the GeoSuspend Library to Safely Suspend or Reset the GeoExplorer CE Handheld from within an Application(DevNote_GeoCE_GeoSuspendLib.pdf - 128 KB)The GeoSuspend library contains functions that perform Suspend/Resume and other resets.
