Trimble Trident-3D Capture softwareData capture is managed on-board the vehicle by the Trimble Trident-3D Capture software. It operates as the server within a client-server architecture with the sensors acting as clients. This architecture provides maximum flexibility to upgrade, swap, or downgrade sensors with the overall system configuration based on your project needs.
Trimble Trident-3D Capture is designed for ease of use by the system operator, providing an interactive 3D map and simple one-button start and stop operation. It also manages real-time quality control using hardware and software functions for the georeferencing, imagery, and laser scanner data.
Client software plug-ins include Trimble Trident-3D Cam Capture software (for imaging sensors) and Trimble Trident-3D Laser Capture software (for laser scanners).
Trimble Trident-3D Capture also provides tools to capture additional field data, including linear referencing data and voice annotations (from the operator).
