The Trimble® Recon® handheld is tough. With an IP67 rating, it's impervious to water and dust, common occurrences in forestry operations. Expansion slots for CompactFlash cards give options for increased memory or other sensors. You also have the option of built-in Bluetooth® and wireless LAN (802.11g).
The Trimble Recon handheld features a high-performance 400 MHz processor. Use Bluetooth to connect wirelessly to other devices such as a laser rangefinder, a mobile phone for connection to the Internet, or external GNSS receivers.
The Trimble Recon handheld is powered by the most advanced operating system available—Windows Mobile® version 6—so you can choose to run the application that best suits you. Windows Mobile 6 provides persistent storage so your data and applications are secure despite loss of power.
