Trimble's Lassen® LP GPS board is a miniature, low-power GPS receiver module for battery-powered applications. It is ideal for embedding GPS in portable devices from PDA's and personal communication systems to data terminals and recorders to instrumentation units. Lassen LP GPS module allows portable device developers to balance operational frequency and power conservation for a particular application.

Overview

The Lassen LP GPS features a new set of power management tools that puts the power budget decision in the developers hands. The developer now can determine the best balance between operational frequency and power conservation for a particular application.
