Telvisant CrossCheck CDPD Mobile Unit
The CrossCheck® CDPD Mobile Unit, a key component of Trimble's Telvisant MRM System, is a powerful, versatile tool for determining and communicating a vehicle's location and status to the Telvisant platform via a wireless communication network.
The unit integrates a GPS receiver, a cellular digital packet data (CDPD) wireless communication system, and computing power in a single, compact enclosure.
- The CrossCheck CDPD unit can be used as a standalone device to determine and communicate current vehicle status, including position, speed and direction.
- It can also be interfaced with external accessories and sensors as part of an on-board system to monitor vehicle status and to activate vehicle security peripherals such as ignition lockout or audible alarms.
The unit mounts conveniently out of the way in a vehicle's cab and requires no operator access or involvement.
An optional accessory, the EchoLDX messaging terminal, displays and stores text messages received from the dispatcher and enables the operator to send a predefined response message to the dispatcher. |
