Putting Innovation to Work-Trimble Technology to be Used to Construct New Campus

In 2013, Trimble will premiere its new Rockies campus building - a state-of-the-art facility built using its own high-end customer solutions. The project provides the unique opportunity to prominently showcase the technologies found within the Survey, Heavy Civil, as well the Building Construction divisions within Trimble.

Trimble's new Rockies campus will be a 125,000 sq. ft., 4-story building on 15 acres in the Westmoor area of the City of Westminster, located at 10368 Westmoor Drive. It will house existing employees, with space to accommodate up to 570 employees.

The building project is pursuing Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification.

Trimble initially opened its Colorado location in October of 2000 with 43 employees at the Church Ranch Office Center in the City of Westminster, occupying approximately 29,000 sq. ft. Today, Trimble leases approximately 98,000 sq. ft. in Westminster's Westmoor Technology Park, with more than 400 employees. This investment demonstrates our continued commitment to the region, which has become a primary corporate location for us.

As part of the project, Trimble's broad range of Engineering and Construction (E&C) solutions will be used during construction of the new campus-from survey, site-prep, excavation and estimating to 3D design and Building Information Modeling (BIM), project management and construction layout.

Trimble's Connected Site® solutions enable an integrated and seamless workflow to reduce rework and improve productivity on a construction jobsite.

JE Dunn Construction is the general contractor for the project; OZ Architecture of Boulder designed the building; and Cresa Partners of Denver served as the real estate broker.
