|Modular design||The SPS855 GNSS receiver is a combination of an integrated unit that contains the GNSS receiver, radio and radio antenna plus battery and an external GPS antenna. |Trimble IBSS base station capability||When the SPS855 receiver is connected with the SNM940 cellular modem the SPS855 can work as an Internet Base Station. The SPS855 uses Connected Community to provide a correction stream to multiple internet-connected rovers. It removes the IT complexity, the hassles associated with private and dynamic IP addresses and the limited number of users associated with using NTRIP Caster function.|
|SPS555H Heading Add On Receiver||The SPS855 can be combined with an SPS555H Heading add on receiver to provide both precise position and heading for applications on cranes, vessels and dredgers where the position and orientation in real-time is important.|
The Trimble SPS855 Modular GPS Receiver is optimized for use as a permanent or semi-permanent base station to provide GNSS corrections for site measurements and machine control.
