Primary Duties:
-Actively work with the management team to implement conventional survey and GPS strategy for China
-Meet revenue and reporting targets
-Increase market share in the Chinese regional markets through the development of new and existing relationships
-Participate in industry tradeshows and relevant events

Position Requirements:
-Thorough understanding of and experience in China technology-based sales, preferably in channel management rather than direct sales
-Demonstrated sales success over a minimum of 7 years
-Highly motivated, self starter with ability to work independently, as well as a team player working as part of a dispersed management team
-Qualifications related to survey fields is required. Business Administration qualification is also an advantage.
-Ability to make technical sales presentations to large and high-level government sector and private audiences
-Strong written and verbal communications skills in both Chinese and English
-Willing and able to travel frequently throughout the region, as well as the US and other international locations as required

Service Engineer

Reporting to: Service Manager or Supervisor, Asia Pacific

Role:
This is a critical position in Asia Pacific Training, Support and Service organization of the Engineering and Construction Division. The said post will conduct service repair work on Trimble products, as well as provide service support to Trimble? Distribution (service provider) network.

The incumbent of this position will fulfill service repair obligations to Trimble Customers/Dealers in a timely manner through the management of service processes and procedures.

Primary Duties and Attributes:

The role primarily consists of:
-Manage and process inbound and outbound service parts and product repairs at through the service repair workshop in the Wai Gaoqiao facility, Shanghai, China.
-Work closely with Service Supervisor/Lead in coordinating priority service repairs and scheduling of all repairs. Process related inventory transactions and required paper work that pertains to service inventory management requirements.
-Assist with the management of service product/parts/equipment inventories through periodic inventory audits/cycle counts and documentation.
-Troubleshoot and repair Trimble product to meet manufacturing specifications, while maintaining reasonable turnaround time that complies with Trimble goals and customer expectations.
-Generate the required service reports for every completed instrument repair job which will be used for accounting, billing, inventory and workshop performance record.
-Provide support to Trimble? Distribution (Service Providers) to assist in the troubleshooting and repair of Trimble products.
-Provide training in the form of one-on-one or in a class room environment.
-Assist with the development of service repair training material and agendas.
-Assist in the management and upkeeping of the Wai Gaoqiao service facility such as periodic calibration of tools, monitoring and maintaining the integrity of distance and angle baselines, collimator benches and electronic equipment.

The incumbent will display the following skills and attributes:
-Excellent organizational and communication (both documentation and verbal) skills required.
-Posses analytical decision making skills and capable of working with little or no supervision.
-Strong computer skills. (i.e.: MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, Data entry, etc.)
-Good time management skills.?Ability to prioritize work based on customer requirements, while obtaining Trimble service goals and objectives.
-Posses strong electro-mechanical?nowledge and cable of reading/following engineering documents and guidelines.

Education and experience:
-A Bachelor Degree in electronics or related fields, optical background is desirable
-Or minimum 4 years experience in the field of service repairs (manufacturing)
