Reingeniería Operativa, S.C.
Sample projects:
Cervecería Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma is one of the most important brewing companies in Mexico. Since 1995 the company has carried out annual collection and analysis of market data relevant to their business utilizing a Reingeniería Operativa system. Data collection is carried out using the CapiMóvil and CapiMapper software applications on the Trimble Recon handheld. Positions are captured using the Trimble GPS Pathfinder Pro series GPS receivers and integrated directly with data point attributes. Field data is passed seamlessly to the MapInfo GIS platform where statistical analysis is undertaken. The municipal government of San Nicolas de los Garza in Nuevo Leon required a cadastral update survey of 140,000 properties in their territory. A data collection system consisting of Reingeniería Operativa software running on the Trimble Recon handheld and utilizing the Trimble GPS Pathfinder Pocket GPS receiver for positions was utilized. The GPS Pathfinder Pocket receiver enabled accurate navigation and identification of each property and the Trimble Recon handheld proved a rugged and reliable data collection platform in all conditions. All field information was processed and uploaded, via a web services session, to a MapInfo server for analysis. Reingeniería Operativa provided a solution to the municipal government of Monterrey from the state of Nuevo Leon for public lighting asset management. The Government's lighting assets include 2,000 circuits and 80,000 light poles. Utilizing Trimble GeoXT™ handhelds and remote metering devices for asset data collection has enabled the development of an up to date asset management solution. This solution facilitates a reduction in maintenance cost by way of real time monitoring of the lighting system. The Monterrey government is able to readily analyze the power demand on each lighting circuit to carry out actions such as pro-active energy saving and a quick response alarm system in case of outages. |
