ProStar's unique project management environment reduces the cost of the workflow process and improves the validity of data captured in the field. ProStar's services significantly leverage existing Trimble systems and processes.
- ProStar Online Service
ProStar Online is an online data management environment that services multiple, simultaneous users with secure network links through Project View functionality software. Project personnel can view GIS data from any browser installed with an appropriate plug-in. This can occur in real-time, as the data points are gathered in the field. ProStar Online uses any available communication service to synchronize data from the field to the office and vice-versa.

Pointman field data collection software is tightly integrated with ProStar Online services providing real time synchronization of data collected in the field onto a central server data management environment.
- Project: Hillsborough County Florida GIS Field Data Rectification of exiting Utility Water Systems
This project was performed by Mckim & Creed Engineering utilizing Trimble GPS equipment, ProStar Pointman data collection software, and ProStar Online data management services. The project objective was to update and rectify Hillsborough County, Florida water and sewer system GIS locations and attribute data. This project, which took over a year to complete, utilized Trimble® Pro XRS receiver GPS equipment and the Guardian ProStar Pointman data collection software. The field GIS manager, utilizing ProStar Online, remotely managed 4 field crews working in Hillsborough County Florida from his office in Cary, NC resulting in a 50-75% productivity increase in field data collection and in data quality and reduced travel costs
