ESC Engineering is a full service electrical engineering firm dedicated to providing comprehensive GIS implementation and GPS inventory solutions to the electric, petroleum, and water/ wastewater utility industries, as well as a variety of government, private and educational organizations. • ESC Engineering has developed several GPS based applications to automate and facilitate the acquisition and management of utility based infrastructure using Trimble GPS systems and ESRI software applications. ESC Engineering has most recently developed "AVL Analyst". "AVL Analyst" is an ESRI extension used to analyze field crew operations. This extension leverages data collected using one of the Trimble Mapping & GIS systems and processed through GPS Pathfinder® Office software or the Trimble® GPS Analyst™ extension for ESRI ArcGIS Desktop software. This data is then used to determine adherence to safety standards, develop efficient work order routing schedules, and automate the entire dispatch system.
• ESC Engineering has also developed custom data models for the utility industry. These models have been converted into Trimble Data Dictionaries and ESRI ArcPad Forms for more efficient field data collection practices. Using these custom Data Dictionaries and ArcPad Forms coupled with the Trimble Mapping & GIS systems hardware we have developed a turn-key solution that provides the absolute best solution for both data and spatial accuracy requirements.
