High-accuracy, dynamic 3D measurement

The Trimble ATS Construction Total Station is a robotic total station that can be used as a positioning sensor for grade control, site positioning, and marine survey and construction. A key component of the Trimble Site Positioning System, the ATS delivers high-accuracy measurements in a variety of jobsite applications.

Grade Control

As part of the BladePro® 3D grade control system, the Trimble ATS robotic total station provides precise vertical positioning - accurate to ±5 mm (0.02 ft), making it ideal for finished grade work.

Site Positioning

As part of the Trimble Site Positioning System, Trimble ATS is designed for contractors looking for a single total station for both grade control operations and site positioning applications. The Trimble ATS operates with Trimble SCS900 Site Controller Software to let you measure material volumes, monitor grades and laid material thicknesses, and perform site measurement tasks such as point, line and surface stakeout.

Marine Construction

The Trimble ATS can be used with the HYDROpro™ PC-based software for a complete 3D marine survey and construction positioning system.

Data Latency and Output Rate

Designed specifically for high-speed low-latency use, the ATS in Advanced Tracking mode has a latency of less than 200 ms and selectable output rate between 1 and 6 Hz. The angle and distance data from the instrument are synchronized, providing a machine or vessel with precise, up-to-date information, increasing the accuracy and speed of the operations.

The ATS has built-in "search intelligence" and very quickly searches for and finds the target mounted on the machine. The target recognition feature enables the ATS to lock on to the desired target and ignore other active targets of other machines, reflective surfaces, or nearby survey crews. If the lock is lost due to a passing vehicle or other interruption, the ATS quickly relocates the target automatically.
