The Trimble® Nomad® outdoor rugged handheld computer makes it easy to collect, save and transmit data with its many built-in capabilities. You pick the features to suit your needs. Compute your location with the integrated GPS receiver for navigation applications. Quickly track your assets with the integrated laser bar code scanner. Capture 5 megapixel color images with the integrated digital camera, and geotag the images with the GPS location, or record QVGA video. Add-on Sensors

UHF RFID ReaderRFID-NMD-5EC-NA, RFID-NMD-5EC-EU

The UHF RFID Reader is designed for a variety of RFID scenarios, including asset management and inventory management, and works with EPCglobal Gen2 tags. The Reader is tested and certified to IP67 and MIL-STD-810F standards, making it as durable and resistant to harsh environments as the Nomad computer.

The AA battery module allows you to use AA batteries for a power source for your Nomad. This accessory is an excellent choice when you will not have routine access to AC or DC power to recharge the Lithium-Ion battery. This accessory is essential for weeks-long expeditions into undeveloped areas.

 
12V Vehicle ChargerACCAA-653

The 12 volt vehicle charger allows you to recharge the Nomad battery when in your vehicle. This charger is compatible with 12V DC systems and with Nomad and Ranger.

Caps and Boots

Extended CF-CapACCAA-200

The Extended CF-Cap is used to safely enclose CompactFlash devices which protrude out of the CompactFlash slot. Such devices are typically larger than CompactFlash memory cards, which can be safely enclosed by the Standard CF-Cap.
