Jürgen Kliem
Vice President, Strategy and Business Development

Jürgen Kliem was appointed vice president of strategy and business development in October 2008. From 2002 to 2008, Kliem served as general manager of Trimble's Survey Division. Kliem joined Trimble in July 2000 as part of the Spectra Precision acquisition. From 2000 to 2002, he was responsible for the Engineering and Construction segment's European operations. Prior to Spectra Precision, Kliem held various leadership roles at Geotronics, a company acquired by Spectra Precision, directing the European sales and marketing activities. Before joining Geotronics, Kliem worked in a privately-held surveying firm addressing cadastral, construction, plant and engineering projects. Kliem received a Diplom Ingenieur degree from the University of Essen, Germany in 1982.
