This allows other devices, e.g. the Trimble 3600 Total Station, to communicate with Windows 2000 via the IrDA interface. This document describes the use of the IR data port on the Trimble 3600-series instruments to transfer data to and from a PC using the 'Wireless Link' file transfer program that exists in Windows 2000. This program transfers files to or from other devices using the OBEX (Object Exchange) infrared protocol.
